On Tuesday the 28th our house settled. A lot of build up to a 5 minute transaction! We are currently staying at our local Cairns Coconut Caravan Park and the boys have a wonderful time after school. Forget school work, more like play work... It's a hard job being a kid and making sure the jumping pillows, water park, playgroud, mini golf and pools all work.

One more week before we move out of the house and Andrew took it upon himself to 'make' the kids learn to do the washing up...much to our surprise they like it. Our youngest, Ethan, actually asked 'could I do the washing up before my shower so that I don't miss out'!!!!!!!

                                                  Oh boy, I hope this lasts!

During the week we put a deposit on a car. We have chosen a 2008 V8 Toyota Landcruiser 76. It has some basics like the bullbar, snorkel and Hayman Reese, but we will have to add the electric brakes, towing mirrors and tow ball.

Tomorrow is another trip to Dad and Mum's with more of our stuff. We are so thankful to them for storing our gear...big saving on a storage unit.

Speaking of, I have yet more packing to do before tomorrow....

The weekend before last we went to Mackay and put a deposit on our van. We are buying a Retreat Daydream and we're quite excited.

Hopefully this will give us privacy and comfort for our indefinate journey around Australia! We chose a van of this size, because we felt that it would suit our needs with providing plenty of space.
